Serbian reality show 'Elita 9' fuels heated disputes among participants

The reality competition "Elita 9" has become a focal point for multiple public clashes among Serbian celebrities. In one episode, Anđelo Ranković called rival Ivan Marinković "krezavim" and the two exchanged insults, prompting Marinković’s fan base to post a mocking image captioned “Anđelo je proćelavio!”.

Other participants have also aired personal grievances on the show. Luka Vujović used a nomination segment to detail his tumultuous breakup with Aneli Ahmić, while Ermina Pašović defended Jovana Tomić Matora against accusations from Asmin Durdžić that she was responsible for her father’s health decline, stating “Uzima pokojnike u usta, a prodao je Boga oca!”. Maja Marinković accused fellow contestant Stanija Dobrojević and Asmin of targeting her with personal attacks and even threatened to "go for eggs" in retaliation. Separately, a 70‑year‑old former partner of contestant Sofija, referred to as Danet, canceled a scheduled TV studio appearance, sparking speculation about undisclosed controversies surrounding their relationship.
