God Mother and Godflesh release new albums amid career shifts

The Swedish metallic hardcore quartet God Mother has released their third full-length album, KÖTTVÄRLD. The release expands on their previous metalcore and grindcore sounds by incorporating elements of noise, post-punk, classic rock, and saxophone. The 26-minute album features tracks such as ‘Open Vein’, ‘Dopamine Wire’, ‘Fault’, and ‘Meat World’.

British industrial metal duo Godflesh has released Decay, their tenth overall album and first for Relapse Records. The release comes amid the announcement that the band will no longer perform live due to health concerns regarding vocalist Justin Broadrick. The album was recorded at Avalanche Studio and maintains the band's signature industrial sound and themes of societal decay.
