God of War Laufey pre-orders surge on PlayStation Store

Pre-orders for the upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive, God of War Laufey, have seen significant early success. According to data from PS Store DB, the title has reached the second position on PlayStation Store charts across 44 countries, trailing only GTA 6.

Set for release on February 16, 2027, the game marks a departure from tradition by centering on Laufey, the wife of Kratos, rather than Kratos himself. The narrative takes place in the Everywhen following the events of Ragnarök.

Early sales trends indicate that the more expensive Digital Deluxe Edition is driving much of the momentum. This edition includes various digital bonuses such as the Dark Alchemy armor, a blade, bow scales, a catalyst, an artbook, and the original soundtrack.
