GoDaddy expands developer tools for domain management

GoDaddy has expanded its Developer Platform to integrate core domain services directly into existing developer workflows. The update aims to simplify the transition from coding to application launch by allowing users to manage DNS, search for and purchase domains, handle renewals, and manage redirects through APIs and a command-line interface.

The platform is designed to support modern development practices such as CI/CD workflows, Infrastructure as Code, and AI-assisted development. To maintain security during automated processes, GoDaddy has implemented safeguards including pricing protections, duplicate-purchase prevention, and scoped permissions to limit the access of automated tools and AI agents.
