Godiva Bakery to open first Kyushu location in Fukuoka

Godiva Japan will open its first Kyushu-based “GODIVA Bakery Godipan” at the Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin store on August 31, 2026. The bakery brand aims to blend traditional Japanese confectionery and savory breads with chocolatier expertise.

The new location features a design inspired by Fukuoka’s local “yatai” (food stall) culture, including a live kitchen and specialized display booths. The menu will include approximately 20 items, featuring local ingredients such as mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and Amaou strawberries from Ukiha City. Exclusive products for this location include a mentaiko potato salad cornet and an Amaou strawberry daifuku cornet.
