Godox expands lighting lineup with V1Pro and A2 Xenon flash

Godox has introduced two distinct lighting solutions targeting different photography segments. The Godox V1Pro is a professional-grade round-head speedlight designed for mirrorless camera systems. It features an integrated lithium-ion battery and offers both TTL and manual control modes. The unit supports various configurations, including direct light, bounce flash, and wireless grouping, with specific versions available for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, and OM SYSTEM.

Complementing the professional line, the Godox A2 Xenon Flash is a dedicated external lighting tool designed specifically for smartphone photography. Unlike standard LED mobile flashes, the A2 utilizes a xenon tube to provide a powerful, brief burst of light, helping to freeze movement and manage challenging conditions like backlighting or low light. It offers TTL metering for automatic exposure and manual control for more precise adjustments. While optimized for close-range work within two meters, Godox plans to release a wireless flash trigger to allow the A2 to pair with larger speedlights for more advanced mobile setups.
