Godox launches ES01 motorized electric suction mount for lighting

Godox has introduced the ES01 Motorized Suction Holder, an electric suction accessory designed to help photographers and videographers mount lightweight lighting gear to smooth surfaces like glass, tiles, and car windows. The device uses a motorized vacuum system to secure equipment, providing an alternative to traditional light stands in cramped or inconvenient environments.

The standalone ES01 unit weighs approximately 69 grams and is roughly the size of a tennis ball. It features a built-in battery rechargeable via USB-C, a red warning light, and an audible alert for low battery levels. While some specifications suggest a maximum load capacity of 1.3 pounds (approximately 590 grams), practical usage for single-light setups is recommended for gear up to 360 grams to ensure stability.

The accessory is compatible with various Godox flashes, including the TT350, V350, and iT32 series, as well as compact LED lights like the LED6R. For heavier equipment, Godox offers the ES01 K3 kit, which includes three suction cups and a bracket. This triangular arrangement increases the total load capacity to approximately 4.4 pounds (nearly 2 kilograms), allowing for the mounting of professional gear such as the AD100Pro or AD200Pro.
