Godrej Industries Group to invest ₹20,000 crore in Haryana
Godrej Industries Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Haryana government to invest approximately ₹20,000 crore in the state. This investment is expected to create around 40,000 direct and indirect jobs.
Godrej Properties will account for the majority of the capital, with plans to invest ₹16,000 crore by FY28. The company currently manages 18 projects across Gurugram, Sonipat, Faridabad, Panipat, and Kurukshetra. Additionally, Godrej Ventures intends to invest ₹3,500 crore in Grade A+ office infrastructure in Gurugram to bolster the local commercial ecosystem.
Pirojsha Godrej, Chairperson of Godrej Industries Group, noted that Haryana serves as a significant growth driver due to its rapid urbanization and the emergence of Gurugram as a major commercial hub. While Godrej Properties recorded ₹34,171 crore in bookings in FY26, making it India’s highest-selling listed developer, the scale of this expansion brings renewed focus to the company's project delivery capabilities.
