Godrej Properties and Gadang Holdings report declines in quarterly net profits

Godrej Properties Limited reported a 62 per cent year-on-year decline in net profit for the quarter ended September 2026, falling to Rs 154 crore from Rs 405 crore in the previous year. Despite the drop in earnings, the Mumbai-based developer saw revenue surge to Rs 1,935 crore, up from Rs 740 crore in the same period last year. The company noted record collections of Rs 5,318 crore during the quarter and expressed confidence in surpassing its full-year guidance.

Gadang Holdings Bhd reported a 78.8 per cent decline in first-quarter net profit for the period ended August 31, 2026, with profit attributable to shareholders falling to RM2.88 million from RM13.54 million a year earlier. The Malaysian construction and property group experienced a 61.4 per cent drop in revenue. The decline was attributed to weaker contributions from the construction and property divisions, alongside a goodwill impairment related to a water treatment plant in Indonesia.
