Godrej Properties reports 61.9% profit drop despite record sales

Godrej Properties Limited reported a 61.9% year-on-year decline in profit attributable to owners for the second quarter of FY27, ending September 30, 2026. The profit fell to ₹154.15 crore from ₹405.08 crore in the same period the previous year, even as total income rose 31.9% to ₹2,571.73 crore.

The earnings decline was driven by surging expenses, including a 32.3% increase in raw-material costs and a 90.4% rise in total expenses.

Despite the lower profit, the company achieved record sales performance. Q2 FY27 booking value reached ₹8,008 crore through the sale of 3,658 units. The first half of FY27 saw a 7% year-on-year growth in booking value to a record ₹16,659 crore. Sales were geographically diversified across markets including the NCR, MMR, Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad.
