Godslave releases new single “Square One” ahead of self‑titled album

German metal band Godslave has issued a new single and music video titled “Square One”. The track, which deals with setbacks, inner demons and the resolve to keep moving forward, will appear on the band’s self‑titled studio album scheduled for release on 11 September 2026 through Metalville (EDEL).

Musically the song blends an unusual crust‑punk‑style groove with the epic melodies that define Godslave’s sound. To complement the theme of starting over, the group created an old‑school platform‑game that can be played on their website and is featured prominently in the video.

The band announced a series of German and Swiss tour dates to promote the release, including shows in Neunkirchen (12 Sept), Kelsterbach (26 Sept), Lenzburg (3 Oct) and Lörrach (12 Dec). The line‑up consists of Thommy (vocals), Bernie and Manni (guitars), Mika (bass) and Tobi (drums).
