Godslave releases self-titled thrash metal album

The Teutonic thrash metal band Godslave has released a self-titled album, marking their first studio offering in five years following their previous release, ‘Positive Aggressive’.

The band underwent a period of restructuring after members guitarist Bernie and bassist Mika independently considered leaving the group during the pandemic. This led to a reorganization of responsibilities and decision-making processes to ensure that administrative tasks did not overshadow the music.

Musically, the new album remains rooted in thrash metal but incorporates elements of death metal, power metal, and black metal. Lyrical themes focus on resilience, empowerment, and overcoming adversity. Notable tracks include ‘Reset, Rebuild, Reclaim’, ‘Repaid in Kind’, and ‘Let the Fire Come’.
