Godsmack announces new drummer and December concert series

American alternative metal band Godsmack has announced significant changes to its lineup and upcoming performance schedule. The group has incorporated drummer Mike Mangini, formerly of Dream Theater, following several personnel changes. Vocalist and creative lead Sully Erna indicated that this new era could lead to new music as early as 2027.

In addition to lineup updates, the band has confirmed a series of intimate casino performances scheduled for December. These shows are intended to offer a closer experience for fans compared to their typical large-scale arena and festival tours. These performances are expected to feature a mix of career hits and material from their recent album, ‘Lighting Up the Sky’.
