Godzilla In The Kitchen releases Termination Sequence

Leipzig-based heavy psychedelic progressive rock trio Godzilla In The Kitchen has released their new album, ‘Termination Sequence’. The release marks a significant stylistic evolution for the band, transitioning from a purely instrumental group to an alternative metal outfit with vocals. Bassist Simon Ulm has taken over vocal duties, providing both melodic singing and growls to deliver lyrics that subtly comment on global events.

The band’s lineup has also seen a major change with the addition of drummer Thiago Presto, who moved from Brazil to Leipzig. Presto introduces a new rhythmic dimension to the band’s sound, blending progressive groove-rock with Brazilian Maracatu influences.

Previously known for their appearances at Wacken Open Air and their albums ‘Godzilla In The Kitchen’ and ‘Exodus’, the trio—consisting of Ulm, guitarist Eric Patzschke, and Presto—now explores a diverse mix of stoner rock, psychedelic, and progressive metal.
