Godzilla Minus Zero pre-festival event scheduled in Tenerife

A special pre-festival event for the film ‘Godzilla Minus Zero’ will take place on November 3 at Multicines Tenerife. The screening serves as a precursor to the tenth edition of the Isla Calavera Fantastic Film Festival, which runs from November 6 to 15.

The event coincides with Godzilla Day, marking the anniversary of the original 1954 film release. ‘Godzilla Minus Zero’ is written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki, who previously directed ‘Godzilla Minus One’, the first Japanese production to win an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.

Set in 1949, the new film follows Japan as it attempts to rebuild following the devastation of war, just as a new threat emerges to endanger the population.
