GOe FUTURE Startup Factory launches in Göttingen

The GOe FUTURE Startup Factory has officially launched in Göttingen, Germany, to facilitate the transition of life science research into commercial startups. Supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, the initiative aims to strengthen Lower Saxony as a specialized hub for the life sciences sector.

Up to 20 million euros will be allocated to the project through the end of 2030. The factory is designed to address the specific challenges faced by scientific spin-offs in this field, such as high technological risks, long development cycles, and significant capital requirements. By providing a structured ecosystem, the initiative seeks to transform scientific discoveries into a pipeline of scalable, marketable companies.
