Goeree-Overflakkee offers free sustainability advice for SMEs
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on Goeree-Overflakkee can access free, independent advice regarding energy savings and sustainability through the ‘Ontzorgingsprogramma verduurzaming mkb’. This initiative is a joint effort by the province of Zuid-Holland and the municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee.
Advisors will conduct street-level visits to provide personalized guidance on energy-saving measures, suitable investments, and available subsidies or regulations. During these visits, entrepreneurs can also request a free energy scan of their rental or owned properties to identify potential areas for improvement.
Scheduled visits will take place in the center areas of Middelharnis and Oude-Tonge on Tuesday, October 6, and in Ouddorp on Thursday, October 8. The program is organized in collaboration with local business associations, including Stichting BIZ Middelharnis Centrum, Stichting BIZ Ouddorp Centrum, and Vereniging Ondernemers Oude-Tonge (VOOT). While the street approach focuses on these centers, other entrepreneurs on the island may also participate if they meet the necessary criteria.
