GOFUS expands youth social support through sports in Germany

GOFUS is expanding its youth development initiatives in Germany through 2026, utilizing sports as a tool for social integration and support. The organization leverages a network of over 500 active and former professional football players to provide safe spaces and reliable relationships for young people, particularly those facing challenges such as illness or social exclusion.

In collaboration with the Wundex Group, the initiative ‘Heilsam. Gemeinsam.’ has been active since 2025, focusing on physical, mental, and social well-being through weekly community actions. These efforts aim to provide support in disadvantaged neighborhoods through accessible and free sports offerings.

Additionally, Gemeinschaftserlebnis Sport is seeking volunteers for social service positions (FSJ/BFD). Volunteers are tasked with planning sports activities, developing new projects, and assisting with holiday programs and administrative duties to support youth engagement.
