Gogo Mastrokosta's final pilgrimage to Saint Porporios Monastery

The spiritual advisor of Gogo Mastrokosta has shared details regarding her final pilgrimage to the Holy Monastery of Saint Porporios in Mileksi, Attica. The visit took place approximately three months before her death on May 25, 2026, during her ongoing battle with cancer.

Mastrokosta visited the monastery alongside her husband, Traianos Della, to fulfill a personal vow and seek spiritual strength. Her advisor described a deeply emotional scene in the cell of Saint Porporios, where Mastrokosta placed an icon above the Saint’s bed and prayed with great faith and tears. The advisor noted that the couple left the monastery feeling spiritually strengthened by the experience.

Mastrokosta passed away following a long illness and had been receiving treatment at Evangelismos Hospital, supported by her husband and daughter, Victoria.
