GoGold Resources advances Los Ricos South silver project construction
GoGold Resources is advancing the construction of its Los Ricos South silver project in Jalisco, Mexico. The company reports that land clearing and preparation activities are proceeding according to schedule, with more than 150 contractors currently active on-site.
All orders for long-lead equipment, including SAG mills, crushers, and electrical switchgear, have been placed. The company aims to achieve its first silver pour in the second quarter of 2028.
GoGold stated that the project is fully funded through its existing US$284 million in cash and cash flow from its Parral operations, eliminating the immediate need for additional debt or equity issuance. The company expects to maintain cash reserves of at least US$130 million throughout the construction phase.
