Goiana expands health fleet with new ambulance and transport bus

The municipality of Goiana has expanded its health fleet with the addition of a new intensive care (UTI) ambulance and a bus dedicated to Out-of-Home Treatment (TFD). The ambulance, provided by the state government, is equipped with advanced support tools such as monitors for treating critical patients. The bus, funded by the federal government, is intended to transport patients to other cities for medical exams, consultations, or specialized procedures not available locally.

Local officials stated that these vehicles aim to increase agility in emergency responses and improve accessibility for citizens requiring specialized care through the Unified Health System (SUS).
