Goiânia Complexo Serra Dourada undergoes R$ 400 million modernization

Governor Daniel Vilela inspected the ongoing modernization works at the Complexo Serra Dourada in Goiânia. The project involves approximately R$ 400 million in planned private investment and represents the largest renovation in the stadium's 50-year history.

Scheduled for completion in 2028, the works include reforms across all sectors, the installation of a new lower grandstand, and the creation of a future VIP box area. Additionally, improvements are being made to bars, bathrooms, and pedestrian and vehicle access points, including a southwest tunnel designed for heavy vehicles to facilitate large-scale events.

The project follows a continuous operation strategy, allowing the Goiânia Arena and parking facilities to remain active for shows and other events during construction to maintain the local economy.
