Goiânia hosts Pé de Cerrado anniversary tour and Gusttavo Lima performance
Goiânia is hosting two significant cultural events. The musical group Pé de Cerrado is concluding its 25th-anniversary national tour with a free performance of “Os Brincantes” on September 19. The show, held in partnership with Mostra Galhofada, features a blend of music, dance, theater, and circus arts, incorporating traditional rhythms such as maracatu, ciranda, and bumba meu boi. The tour, sponsored by Petrobras, has previously traveled through Bahia, Pernambuco, Pará, Tocantins, and Ceará.
Additionally, singer Gusttavo Lima is returning to Goiânia for his “Buteco” event. Ahead of the performance, Lima met with Governor Daniel Vilela to express gratitude for the state government's support. The Governor referred to the singer as an “ambassador of Goiás,” noting that large-scale entertainment events contribute to the state's reputation as a national reference for the industry.
