Goiânia Mayor advances infrastructure and land regularization

Goiânia Mayor Sandro Mabel is advancing several municipal initiatives involving infrastructure and land rights. He met with the National Department of Transport Infrastructure (DNIT) to request the transfer of federal land in the Negrão de Lima region. This transfer is intended to facilitate the completion of the Leste-Oeste corridor and the resumption of the 44-kilometer Anel Viário project, which aims to reduce congestion on the BR-153 highway.

In terms of housing, the municipal government has authorized the land regularization of the Fortaleza, Juscelino Kubitschek I, and Juscelino Kubitschek II residential areas. This measure will provide 813 families with property deeds at no cost, resolving documentation delays that have lasted as long as 38 years for some residents. The regularization is expected to allow for future municipal investments in infrastructure, such as paving and drainage, in these neighborhoods.
