Goiânia Mayor draws first 200 recipients for housing subsidy program
Goiânia Mayor Sandro Mabel has conducted a draw for the first 200 participants of the ‘Programa Casa Nova Servidor’. Selected municipal employees will receive a R$ 40,000 subsidy to assist with the acquisition of housing.
The program aims to provide a total of 1,000 apartments, which are currently in the final stages of construction on Avenida Perimetral in the northern region of the capital. The apartments are approximately 48 square meters with an estimated value of R$ 320,000. The R$ 40,000 subsidy is intended to serve as a down payment for financing.
This initiative is part of a broader municipal goal to address housing deficits, with the administration aiming to provide housing for 15,000 residents by 2028. The first stage of the program involves an investment of R$ 8 million by the City of Goiânia. The delivery of these housing units is expected in October 2026.
