Goiânia packaging store destroyed by fire

A fire destroyed a packaging store in the Jardim Balneário Meia Ponte neighborhood of Goiânia, Goiás, causing estimated damages of approximately R$ 100,000. The blaze, which was noticed by a resident of an upper floor, consumed various materials, documents, and bills.

Despite the destruction of the establishment and its contents, a Bible was found completely intact. The book had been stored inside an MDF piece of furniture that was entirely consumed by the flames. The owner, Wyldes do Prado, reported that while other items were destroyed, the Bible remained ‘without a scratch.’

The Fire Department controlled the blaze, though the cleanup process was delayed due to the high volume of flammable materials stored in the shop. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
