Goiânia secretary calls for Republicanos party self-criticism

Sabrina Garcez, the municipal government secretary for Goiânia, has called for internal reflection and self-criticism within the Republicanos party following recent elections. Garcez suggested the party must focus on attracting right-wing voters, a demographic currently largely captured by the PL and Bolsonarism.

Garcez also emphasized the need for legislative speed in the Goiânia City Council regarding key reforms, specifically mentioning the IMAS and GoiâniaPrev reforms, as well as the Real Estate Fund project. She noted that the pension savings for civil servants is currently in a deficit and seeks to generate revenue for the institute.

Regarding the relationship between the Mayor's office and the City Council, Garcez stated that Mayor Sandro Mabel maintains a consolidated base and prioritizes requests from council members.
