Goiânia to host Bon Odori promotional event at Praça do Sol

A promotional event for the 24th edition of Bon Odori will take place this Sunday, August 16, at Praça do Sol in Goiânia. The free presentation will feature Taiko drumming and Odori dances starting at 5:00 PM.

This special edition commemorates the 70th anniversary of the ANBG with the theme “Viva o Kaikan!”. The promotional activity serves as a preview for the main festival of Japanese music, dance, cuisine, and arts, which is scheduled for August 21 and 22 at Clube Kaikan. The main event will also be broadcast online via YouTube by the Embassy of Japan in Brazil.
