Goiânia's Mutirama Park Reopens with 3,400 Visitors

The Mutirama amusement park in Goiânia began a phased reopening, operating from Wednesday to Sunday. On Wednesdays and Fridays it is open from 13:00 to 17:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 to 17:00, a schedule that will remain until October when the park aims for full public access.

During the first weekend of limited operation the park received 3,400 visitors, all students from the municipal school system. Municipal officials reported no incidents, noting that extensive safety checks, technical approvals of rides, and mechanical maintenance were completed during the park’s revitalization. The gradual increase in attendance is intended to test equipment performance and ensure visitor safety before the full reopening.

Mayor‑appointed officials, including Executive Secretary José Neto and consultant Flávio Rassi, emphasized that safety remains the top priority and that the current schedule allows the operator to monitor ride performance under real‑world conditions.
