Goiás coach Mozart calls for 2027 planning after loss to Novorizontino

Goiás coach Mozart expressed deep frustration following a 3-0 defeat against Novorizontino in the 31st round of Série B. Mozart described the team's performance as the worst of his tenure in terms of attitude, apologizing to the fans for the players' unacceptable behavior.

The loss highlights a significant decline in the team's form during the second half of the competition, where they have achieved only a 36% success rate. With only 13 points earned in the second turn, the club is facing the risk of relegation and is no longer considered a candidate for promotion.

Mozart emphasized that the club's planning for 2027 needs to begin immediately, suggesting that the current management and performance levels require long-term structural changes to avoid further crisis.
