Brazilian football clubs face varying FIFA transfer bans

Several Brazilian football clubs are navigating FIFA transfer bans and registration updates. Goiás Esporte Clube has successfully cleared its name from FIFA's restriction list after paying a debt of over half a million reais to Belgian club Sint-Truidense. This allows the club to resume registering new players for the remainder of the season.

Amazonas FC has also regained its ability to register players following the end of a four-month transfer ban, recently adding attackers Kauê Fernandes and Pablo Matheus to its roster for the Série C.

In contrast, Internacional is facing a new FIFA transfer ban that could block player registrations for up to three consecutive windows. The club is dealing with multiple financial obligations, including debts to Midtjylland of Denmark, Dansoman Wise of Ghana regarding the transfer of Benjamin Ahrin, and Racing of Argentina concerning Johan Carbonero. The club's management has stated that while they seek to resolve these issues, maintaining the current payroll remains an immediate priority for their cash flow.
