Maranhão Civil Police launches contest with 415 immediate vacancies

The Maranhão Civil Police (PC‑MA) published a new public exam offering 415 immediate positions: 58 delegate posts and 357 official investigator posts. Salaries start at R$ 22,820.23 for delegates and R$ 6,514.30 for investigators. The contest, organized by Cebraspe, also creates a reserve list for a total of 1,303 candidates across both cargos. Registration for delegates runs from 20 July to 13 August, and for investigators from 24 July to 24 August, via the Cebraspe website, with fees of R$ 250 and R$ 180 respectively. Candidates must hold a university degree, a driver’s licence and meet experience criteria (three years of legal or police work for delegates; any degree for investigators). The selection process includes written and oral exams, medical and psychological assessments, and physical tests. Governor Carlos Brandão announced that additional contests for the State Forensic Service and the Penitentiary Administration Secretariat will be released soon, following recent publications for the State Military Police and Fire Brigade.
