Goiás mobilizes over 61,000 poll workers for 2026 elections

The Regional Electoral Court of Goiás (TRE-GO) has mobilized 61,204 poll workers for the 2026 elections. Women represent the majority of this workforce, accounting for 70% of the personnel assigned to electoral sections in the state.

Data indicates a high level of civic engagement, with 65% of the workers having signed up voluntarily, while the remaining 35% were designated by the Electoral Justice system. The demographic profile of the workers shows that the largest age group is between 40 and 44 years old. Additionally, 39.81% of the participants have completed higher education.
