Goiás political candidates launch pre‑campaign tours across regional municipalities

Renato Ribeiro, a federal deputy pre‑candidate from the Liberal Party (PL), and Senator Wilder Morais, also a PL pre‑candidate for governor, visited Catalão and Ipameri in early July. Their agenda included meetings with local political leaders, business representatives, and a stop at the Expo Catalão agribusiness fair to discuss economic development in the southeast of Goiás.

In a separate effort, Romário Policarpo, president of the Goiânia Chamber and pre‑candidate for state deputy, toured seven western Goiás municipalities – Iporá, Ivolândia, Israelândia, Cachoeira de Goiás, Aragarças, Bom Jardim de Goiás and Montes Claros de Goiás – from July 24 to 26. He met community leaders and held a concluding meeting with deputy‑candidate Lucas Calil, pledging greater state and federal investment in infrastructure and social projects for the region.
