Goiás political gatherings push regional development and representation
In Rio Verde, a political meeting organized by councilor Gerlos Mendonça and attended by mayor Wellington Carrijo and pre‑candidate Paulo do Vale stressed the need for stronger representation of Rio Verde and the Southwest of Goiás in the state legislature, the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. The participants argued that increased political presence would help secure resources and foster economic and social growth for the city and surrounding region.
In Porteiras, state deputy Pedro Lobo led a Pacto Cariri Forte gathering with local leaders and community members to discuss social and economic development of the Cariri area. Lobo highlighted the importance of dialogue and participatory proposals, pledging to continue touring the region to build projects that improve quality of life and strengthen the regional economy.
