Goiás projects R$ 30 billion in industrial investments by 2030
The government of Goiás projects investments exceeding R$ 30 billion in the industry and mining sectors by 2030. Key drivers include the automotive sector, with HPE Automotores announcing R$ 4 billion in investments in Catalão and CAOA planning R$ 5 billion in partnership with China's Changan in Anápolis.
The pharmaceutical hub in Anápolis is also seeing growth, with Laboratório Teuto and Geolab planning significant modernizations. Additionally, EMS is expected to invest over R$ 1 billion following its acquisition of the German unit Fresenius.
In the agribusiness and energy sectors, Inpasa projects R$ 2.224 billion for biofuels and cereals in Rio Verde, while Raízen and Comigo have also announced billion-real investments. The state is also focusing on mining expansion, specifically targeting gold, rare earths, and niobium, alongside the development of the DAIA Norte industrial pole in Anápolis, which aims to generate 30,000 jobs in its first stage.
