Goiás Public Defender's Office to provide free legal aid in Campo Limpo
The Public Defender's Office of the State of Goiás (DPE-GO) will provide comprehensive and free legal services to the municipality of Campo Limpo on Saturday, October 24. The initiative, part of the ‘Defensoria Itinerante’ project, aims to expand access to justice in regions lacking a permanent institutional unit.
Services offered include general legal guidance, consensual and non-consensual divorce, dissolution of stable unions, child custody and alimony agreements, paternity/maternity recognition, and corrections to civil certificates. The program also provides support for transgender individuals regarding name and gender changes, assistance for women victims of violence, and requests for fee exemptions for ID issuance.
This action is part of the 2025-2027 Strategic Plan, which sets a goal to serve at least 40 municipalities per year and conduct 90 itinerant actions annually by 2027.
