Goiás registers 16,500 new companies in September

The state of Goiás recorded the opening of 16,572 new companies in September 2026, according to data from the Board of Trade of the State of Goiás (Juceg). These new businesses represent more than R$ 1.7 billion in declared social capital.

Of the new businesses, 25 involve at least one foreign partner representing 15 different countries, including Portugal, China, Spain, Italy, and Australia. The new registrations span various sectors such as technology, energy, education, agribusiness, and construction.

With these figures, Goiás has surpassed 1.35 million active companies, including 726,846 individual micro-entrepreneurs (MEIs). The average time to open a company in the state is 19 hours, compared to a national average in Brazil of over 30 hours.
