Gojira announces St. Louis benefit concert for hunger relief

French metal band Gojira has announced a one-night-only benefit performance scheduled for September 18 at The Sovereign in St. Louis, Missouri. The event takes place ahead of the band’s scheduled appearance at the Louder Than Life festival.

All proceeds from the concert will be donated to Operation Food Search, a St. Louis-based independent food bank. The organization provides food and nutrition education to over 200,000 people monthly across 24 counties in Missouri and Illinois. The band noted that the organization is able to turn every dollar donated into six dollars worth of food.

The performance will feature support from the band Locked Shut. Tickets for the event are priced at $30, with doors opening at 7 PM CT.
