Gold and silver prices remain firm in Dubai and Hyderabad
Gold and silver prices showed stability and strength in major markets on August 9, 2026. In Dubai, gold prices held near recent highs, with 24-carat gold priced at approximately 5,228.10 AED per 10 grams. This market strength was supported by a weaker US dollar, lower Treasury yields, and a potential easing of Middle East tensions, alongside investor anticipation of US nonfarm payrolls data.
In Hyderabad, gold rates remained stable. The price for 10 grams of 24-carat gold was recorded at Rs. 1,52,350, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs. 1,39,650. Silver was priced at Rs. 2,49,900 per kilogram. Local prices in India continue to track international trends influenced by the rupee's value against the dollar and government import duties.
