Gold and silver markets show recovery amid strong institutional buying

Precious metals markets are experiencing significant volatility, with gold and silver showing signs of recovery following recent corrections. Despite price fluctuations, institutional interest remains high. The World Gold Council reported that global gold ETFs attracted approximately $10 billion in September, contributing to third-quarter inflows of a record $31 billion.

China has also increased its physical gold purchases during this period. While leveraged futures traders have been reducing bullish positions, the accumulation in physically backed funds suggests long-term investor confidence.

Technical analysts are closely monitoring key support levels for silver, specifically the $55-$57 and $58.50 zones. A sustained move above $61-$62 is viewed as a critical indicator for a potential bullish reversal. Gold continues to navigate a complex trend, with analysts watching for a break in its recent pattern of lower weekly highs to confirm a new upward trajectory.
