Gold bracelet theft in Salihli, Turkey

A suspect entered a jewelry shop in Salihli district of Manisa province, claiming he wanted to examine the merchandise. He took 15 gold bracelets valued at around 2.5 million Turkish lira and fled the premises. Security‑camera footage enabled police to identify the man as Samet Ş., and a rapid operation was launched. The same day officers located him in a field in Keli Mahallesi, seized the stolen gold and placed him in custody. The recovered bracelets were returned to the shop after processing. Yunus Candan, president of the Salihli Jewelers Association, thanked the district police for their swift response.
