Gold Coast Suns to re-draft delisted players
The Gold Coast Suns have announced their intention to re-draft forwards Jamarra Ugle-Hagan and Elliott Himmelberg in the upcoming Telstra AFL draft after both players were delisted.
Ugle-Hagan, a former number one draft pick, joined the Suns from the Western Bulldogs and played three senior matches in 2026. Himmelberg previously played 50 matches for Adelaide but has not yet appeared at the senior level for Gold Coast due to injury setbacks.
Additionally, the Suns have secured midfielder Ben Jepson for the 2027 season following a one-year contract extension. Jepson has played six matches since joining the club via a supplemental selection period.
