Gold Fields completes livestock warehouse in Sinchao, Peru

Gold Fields has completed the construction of a livestock warehouse in the Sinchao sector of the El Tingo Peasant Community. The project was executed through an agreement with the El Tingo Peasant Community, in partnership with the NGO PRODIA and the local executing company EYA El Tingo S.R.L.

The infrastructure, which required an investment of nearly 400,000 soles, includes a warehouse of approximately 210 square meters built with confined masonry and metal roofing. The facility also features sanitary service modules, sidewalks, and storm drainage systems to ensure safety and durability.

The project is intended to benefit more than 458 community members by providing a secure space for storing agricultural inputs, tools, and resources. This development aims to strengthen the productive and organizational capacities of the local population and improve management of livestock and agricultural resources.
