Gold House honors Emmy nominees at annual One House Toast

Gold House hosted its third annual One House Toast to the Emmys at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, celebrating Asian Pacific and multicultural nominees ahead of the Primetime Emmy Awards.

The event highlighted several acclaimed productions, including Netflix’s ‘Beef’, which received 16 nominations for its second season. Showrunner Lee Sung Jin, the first Asian television creator to receive multiple nominations in writing, directing, and producing for the same series twice, was a central figure at the celebration.

During his speech, Lee Sung Jin shared that he successfully pitched actor Charles Melton for the second season of ‘Beef’ during a dinner facilitated by Gold House co-founder Bing Chen. Chen praised the series for its humanity and the multi-faceted artistry required of modern creators.
