Gold mining firms GoGold Resources and Gold Resource advance Mexican projects
GoGold Resources Inc. operates the Parral Tailings Mine in Chihuahua, Mexico, where it processes historic mine waste to produce gold and silver. The company has $284 million in liquidity, no financial debt, and has secured the final SEMARNAT construction permits for the underground Los Ricos South project, which the board has now approved for development.
After merging with Goldgroup Mining, Gold Resource is accelerating drilling in Mexico. Over 23,000 meters have been drilled this year in the Don David ore zone of Oaxaca, using seven rigs—six underground and one surface. The firm targets a 2026 production of 37,000‑52,000 ounces of gold‑equivalent and has launched additional programs at the Margaritas and Sonora sites to refine resource estimates.
