Antam gold prices decline in Indonesia

Gold prices in Indonesia have shown volatility between October 19 and October 20, 2026. PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) gold prices experienced a notable decline on Tuesday, October 20, dropping by Rp 10,000 per gram to reach Rp 2,564,000 per gram. The buyback price for Antam gold also decreased by Rp 10,000 to Rp 2,379,000 per gram.

Earlier, on Monday, October 19, other gold products such as UBS and Galeri24 at Pegadaian saw slight increases of Rp 3,000 per gram. However, by Wednesday morning, Antam prices reportedly fell further to Rp 2,554,000 per gram, with buyback prices at Rp 2,369,000 per gram.

Transactions for Antam gold are subject to specific taxation: a 0.25 percent Income Tax (PPh Pasal 22) on purchases, and a 1.5 percent PPh Pasal 22 on buyback transactions exceeding Rp 10 million.
