Gold prices in Pakistan drop following international market decline
Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant decline, with the rate for one tola dropping to Rs466,136. This downward trend was driven by a correction in the international bullion market, where global prices fell by $18 per ounce to reach $4,436.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the 10-gram gold rate also decreased by Rs1,543, settling at Rs399,636. Other local rates included 22K gold at Rs427,291 per tola and 21K gold at Rs407,875 per tola.
Silver prices also saw a reduction in the domestic market, decreasing by Rs67 per tola to reach Rs7,179. Market participants continue to monitor international fluctuations, as domestic rates remain closely linked to global bullion movements.
