Gold prices in Pakistan rise to Rs456,536 per tola

Gold prices in Pakistan have experienced a significant upward trend, with the price per tola rising by Rs2,200 to reach Rs456,536. The increase follows a period of continuous growth in both local and international bullion markets. The price for 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs1,887, reaching Rs391,406.

This domestic surge is closely linked to international market movements, where gold prices increased by $22 per ounce to reach $4,341. Since August 5, the per tola price in Pakistan has risen by a total of Rs28,600.

In contrast to the gains seen in gold, silver prices saw a decline, dropping by Rs113 per tola to close at Rs6,826. Regional variations were noted, with reported rates in Lahore and Karachi showing slight differences in selling prices for gold.
