Gold and poultry prices show stability in Egyptian markets

Gold prices in Egypt have maintained a period of stability following recent fluctuations. As of late October, 24-karat gold was priced at approximately 7,190 EGP, while the widely used 21-karat gold reached around 6,295 EGP. The gold pound was recorded at approximately 50,930 EGP. These local trends follow a recent decline in global gold prices, which saw an ounce drop to approximately $3,995 due to rising oil prices and inflationary concerns.

In the poultry sector, market prices for various products remain active. White chicken is priced at 75–76 EGP for implementation and 85–90 EGP for consumers. Sasso chicken ranges from 103–104 EGP for implementation and 113–118 EGP for consumers, while local poultry (Baladi) is priced at 115 EGP for implementation and 125–130 EGP for consumers. Other products include poultry parts like pane (180–220 EGP per kg) and various types of duck and turkey.
